Louella Press for Tiny Prints

Louella Press

The designers at Louella Press always have something up their sleeves! Whether it is bold-colored letterpress invites, whimsical illustrations or beautiful, elegantly engraved stationery, the designers love putting a modern twist on traditional stationery. Created in 2006 as a sister company of Two Paperdolls, Louella Press revives the fading art of engraving with their unique combination of tradition and innovation. Nestled in suburban Philadelphia, the design studio's engraved invitations and letterpress note cards are now found in nearly 200 boutiques across the country. Owner and creative director Vanessa Kreckel, and designers Christina Beck, Jessa Butler and Jennifer James each bring their own interests and styles to the table, giving a fresh new look to each design.

IN THE PRESS:

Louella Press has been featured in numerous print and online publications, including Lucky Magazine, How Magazine, The Scoop, Design Sponge and more.

DAILY INSPIRATION:

The designers at Louella Press are inspired by their clients' personalities, styles and stories. They try to capture some of those defining traits in the custom designs that they create for them. When designing for a broader audience, they like to get inspired by pretty patterns, fun party themes or interesting color combinations, and then create their own stories based around those details.

THE IMPORTANCE OF LETTER WRITING

"In the age of emails, text messages and online invitations, we still feel that nothing beats the excitement of receiving a beautiful and tangible invitation, announcement or note in the mail."
