Misha Zadeh has been designing invitations since the ripe old age of eight. Art and design were always a cherished pastime for Misha, until she realized that it was her true calling in life. She received formal training as a graphic designer at the University of Washington, and after earning her degree she worked for several award-winning design firms in the Seattle area. She launched Turquoise Creative in 2001, and has enjoyed great success in the stationery industry ever since. Inspired by color and organic shapes, Misha says that social stationery remains important today because it makes a wonderful impression on everyone who receives it, and then preserves important memories when it is saved. Turquoise Creative's handmade and letterpress greeting cards have been carried by select retailers nationwide, including Barneys New York and Saks Fifth Avenue.
