Founded in 1958, Childrens Chain is a hospital associate group comprised of women volunteers dedicated to raising funds for Children's Hospital Los Angeles for a variety of designated projects.
All Childrens Chain events raise funds for the Associates Endowment for Advancing the Developmental Neurosciences at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). This endowment supports the people, programs and technology needed to establish a comprehensive brain development and neurosciences program at CHLA by providing: state-of-the-art clinical environments for early diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders; social support and education for children and their families; interdisciplinary research focused on developing novel therapeutic and behavioral interventions to help children overcome neurodevelopmental challenges; and training for a new generation of leaders in the field of neurodevelopmental pediatrics who transcend traditional boundaries between disciplines and institutions. Childrens Chain is excited and honored to support one of the most important challenges in medical research for the next few decades.
