"I loved the way my birth announcement came out. It really is such a simple and elegant design...just what I wanted. I did mine in the required font color. I wish it had allowed me to use a darker font. Although it would have made a huge impact on how delicate the card looks, it would have made it easier to read. I framed the card and put it up in my daughter's room. You have to walk right up to the card in order to read it. Overall though, I love the card!"
Wonderful Woodgrain
"Used this design as a 2nd birthday invitation (even though its original design was meant for a birth announcement). Wanted something that would capture our event's woodland theme but not be so in-your-face about it. The woodgrain texture was exactly what I was looking for. In place of the letter call out, we used a number "2," and also included our daughter's photo on the back with the phrase "I'm turning 2! Let's party and play!" We also went much smaller than suggested with the text on the front, and were pleased with the final piece. However, I don't recommend using the smaller size on the back with the light ink."
