Graduation Announcements Trends
Whether you are graduating from high school, college, university, medical school, or pharmacy school, graduation announcements are not only popular, but are important as they serve as both an update on your life for your friends and family, but also are a declaration of the end of a chapter in your life and the start of another.
When sending your graduation announcement, it is usually assumed that you will also include a photo of you either in your cap and gown, or the traditional senior pictures. This is not a necessity, but it is a nice touch and is often appreciated by those who have not seen you in a long time.
Graduation invitations can be accompanied by the graduation announcement and photo, but you should not forget to include the graduation ceremony ticket (if necessary). The graduation place, time, and required dress (if any) should also be on the invitation.
Invitations and announcements are typically sent out 6-8 weeks in advance in order that gifts, congratulatory cards, and attendance plans can be made in a timely manner. A rising trend lately is to ask that any gifts be made in the way of a cash gift towards further education, or to a charity in the graduate's name. The graduate can choose and register with any favored charities and information for donation should be included in the graduation announcements and graduation invitations.
