Does your little princess have a birthday coming up? She won’t be little forever, so make her birthday unforgettable by planning various princess-themed games and activities. Here are a few ideas to get you started.
Your little girl and all of her friends will love dressing up for the party festivities. On your princess party invitations, be sure to specify that guests should come dressed to look like their favorite royal characters.
Serve food that’s fit for a queen (or princess), and present each little princess with a fancy menu. Serve sugar cookies decorated with colorful sprinkles, pink cotton candy, chocolate-covered pretzels and other dainty snacks. If you prefer to serve a healthy snack that is still fun to eat, create a fruit “wand” by putting a row of blueberries on a skewer, then placing a star-shaped watermelon cutout above the blueberries at the top of the skewer.
Provide the girls with thick and colorful cardstock paper cut out in the shape of crowns. Allow them to decorate their crowns with jewels, ribbons, flowers and any other fun and sparkly items you have on-hand.
To play this adorable game, have each girl take turns trying to stick a cutout of kissing lips on a frog poster while blindfolded. This is a fun and creative variation of Pin the Tail on the Donkey that can keep kids entertained for 20 minutes or more.
Grab enough chairs for everyone minus one girl and place them in a circle. Turn on some music and have the girls walk around the “thrones”. When you turn off the music, each girl must try to sit quickly in a throne. The girl who does not sit down quickly enough and is left without a chair gets to turn the music on and off for the next round.
These fun activities are easy to recreate and don’t cost a lot of money. They will, however, provide hours of fun and entertainment for your birthday girl and her party guests.
"Beautiful card and I'm always impressed with the turn around time of Tiny Prints. So wonderful for a busy mother who is running behind on birthday planning"
"We were very pleased with our invitations! The cards were very professional looking and well made! If we ever need paper goods this is the place!"
"I chose to use this card for my son's high school graduation party invitation. I wanted a patriotic color palette since he is joining the military. I felt this was a more mature and elegant option than most graduation designs. I used the same fonts and colors as the example. I was able to add his senior picture to the back. This card turned out beautiful as do all that I order from Tiny Prints!"
"The quality of paper used, the colors, and the style helped make this invite for my little guys 4th birthday party too perfect. It captures his sweet and funny personality to a T. You always deliver perfection tiny prints, thanks!"
"The invitation was perfect for our Memorial Day/birthday celebration, because of the subtle patriotic theme. I changed the font style, and wasn't overly happy with my choice when I received the finished product. I should have stuck to their default font recommendation for this invitation."
