There are a ton of reasons to have a football party: a child’s birthday, an adult’s birthday, the Super Bowl or the start of the college football season, to name a few. To be honest, if you love football, you do not need an excuse for a football party. Just hold one for the sake of it and because football is fun! Here are a few ideas for the different types of football parties.
You love football, but not everyone does. Thus, when you are determining the guest list for a football party, it is a good idea to keep prospective attendees in mind. If you know someone hates football but you really want that person to come, figure out how you can make that happen. For example, will you follow up the mailed invitation with a phone call explaining that while the centerpiece of the party is a football game on TV, there will be other activities such as painting for non-football fans?
Football party invitations definitely set the tone for the party to come. For one thing, they explain the purpose of the party; a Super Bowl shindig stands to be very different from a child’s fifth birthday party. Even so, it is a good idea to include details such as “Adults only, please,” or “Whole family is welcome!” Additional details such as snacks being served are good to include.
As for decorations and toys, take care as to which you include for a child’s party. Even small footballs can quickly turn into destructive toys inside the home, plus if there are not enough, you risk the chance of many crying kids. If your party is for grownups, try to ensure that there are enough goodies to go around as well; you never know who will want to throw around the football.
"Beautiful card and I'm always impressed with the turn around time of Tiny Prints. So wonderful for a busy mother who is running behind on birthday planning"
"We were very pleased with our invitations! The cards were very professional looking and well made! If we ever need paper goods this is the place!"
"I chose to use this card for my son's high school graduation party invitation. I wanted a patriotic color palette since he is joining the military. I felt this was a more mature and elegant option than most graduation designs. I used the same fonts and colors as the example. I was able to add his senior picture to the back. This card turned out beautiful as do all that I order from Tiny Prints!"
"The quality of paper used, the colors, and the style helped make this invite for my little guys 4th birthday party too perfect. It captures his sweet and funny personality to a T. You always deliver perfection tiny prints, thanks!"
"The invitation was perfect for our Memorial Day/birthday celebration, because of the subtle patriotic theme. I changed the font style, and wasn't overly happy with my choice when I received the finished product. I should have stuck to their default font recommendation for this invitation."
