Get the Party Started with Baby Shower Games
Whether girls only or co-ed
, baby showers offer a great way to have fun, spend time with friends and family, eat food and, of course, play some games.
Get a Little Crazy
Some of the games traditionally played at a baby shower can get a little silly. Maybe you've heard of the diaper game. Fill each diaper with a different melted candy bar and let guests sniff it to decide which candy bar it is. Many people claim this classic is as gross as it is fun.
Consider Some Quieter Games
Maybe the baby shower has other children present who would make a mess of games that are too physical. Perhaps Mom is supposed to be relaxing during her pregnancy. Tiny Prints offers baby shower game templates for a variety of pen and paper-based games.
- Who Knows Mom Best?
- The Name Game
- Word Scramble
Play one of them or all of them before tallying up the scores and presenting the winner with a prize. As an additional keepsake, have each guest fill out a baby wishes sheet. Mom can re-read what guests hoped for her child years later to see which ones came true. What a way to personalize the baby shower.
Get Dad Involved
If the baby shower is co-ed, don’t forget to let the men get in on the games. How many of them are new dads? How many of them are experienced fathers who perhaps haven’t changed as many diapers as Mom has? Gather some baby dolls—or for a challenge, make them use balloons—and have the dads see who can put a diaper on the fastest. The catch? They must do it blindfolded and they must put the diaper on correctly.
Now that you have the games planned, all there is left to do is plan the food, find the venue and send the invitations
. Don’t forget to customize them!

January 20, 2014Baby Shower Card
"This card is perfect to use as a "baby wishes" card at a shower. It matches perfectly with the invitation I ordered and is lovely. I'm very pleased with it."
May 21, 2012Great idea
"I ordered these for my sister-in-law's baby shower (along with the matching invitations). They look great and I love the concept. I am mailing them out with each invitation for each guest to fill out and either mail back or bring to the shower. I am going to make a booklet of "wishes for baby" for them to keep. Great experience ordering from Tiny Prints; easy process, order was received quickly, and very pleased with final product."
