Custom Graduation Invitations for an Unforgettable Party
When your hard-working son or daughter makes it to graduation, the achievement is worthy of shouting from the rooftops. In your excitement, you may be tempted to invite everyone you know to the graduation celebration. However, if you are planning an after-graduation party where food is involved, you may need to be more selective about who you invite (unless you don’t mind feeding hundreds of people). Many families find that it is best to be more inclusive when inviting guests to the actual graduation ceremony, while reserving post-graduation party invitations for close friends and family.
Making a Graduation Guest List
It may be difficult to think of excluding anyone from attending the party, so we suggest taking an attitude of inclusivity rather than exclusivity when creating your invite list. Rather than writing down the names of people you do not plan to invite, focus instead on the people who mean the most to your graduate. Who will be most excited to celebrate this achievement in your son’s or daughter’s life? In most cases, only close family, friends, colleagues and perhaps bosses make it to this list.
Chances are good that your graduate will receive a fair amount of cash or gifts at the party, so be prepared by pre-ordering customized thank you notes
that can be filled out and sent in the mail after the event is over. You can design them to match the theme of your graduation invitations or go for a completely unrelated theme. Try to send the notes out no more than a few weeks after gifts are received.
Lastly, don’t get so caught up in party planning that you forget to create your own personalized gift for the special graduate in your life. As your son or daughter prepares to move out on their own, they will love being able to decorate their apartment or dorm room with customized wall décor
. You can also send them on their way with desk accessories
and personalized pillows
that will help them remember the comfort of home no matter where they may be.
Customer reviews of our Graduation Party Invitations & Graduation Cards
May 13, 2015perfect for later table top photos
"I loved the delicate, simplicity of this card for my daughter. And the fact that I can later use the photo in a table top frame... quality of all tiny prints products is always excellent."
June 19, 2014Loved it!!
"Great invitation. I didn't have alot of information to print on it so it was the perfect invite. The use of three photos was a good idea because I was able to put a graduation pic from now, one from pre school and a sports picture. Loved the print style and they came quite quickly after ordering them. Good quality paper, they are not flimsy or done on photo paper. I'm very glad I chose this one."

May 14, 2013Outstanding Quality
"We planned a joint graduation party and were able to personalize three different style invitations with this basic design. We had two individual and one joint invitation for those who were related to both graduates. It was easy to modify text and change wording to keep uniformity among the invitations. We chose to do three snapshots at different points in time. The senior picture was in the bottom square and the younger versions in the top two squares. Received numerous compliments on clarity and originality from our invited guests. Square corners actually looked amazing as well. The modified rectangular envelopes were perfect for housing the invitations."
May 1, 2013Perfect Invitation
"Excellent picture quality, paper was a nice weight and they are reasonably priced. Everyone loved them and asked where I bought the cards. One design idea... Making the text area slightly larger would have helped in my design. The text had to be small in order to get the required information on the card."
