The holidays are demanding, and sometimes the last thing you want to do is think about creating and sending out holiday cards. The good news is you don’t have to. Sure you want to send your friends a note and a picture letting them know how your family is, but just because everyone traditionally does it before the holidays are in full swing, doesn’t mean that’s the only time you can do it. The following are just a few conveniences of waiting until the new year.
When all the holidays are past and gone, you’ll have a lot more time to focus on sending out New Year holiday cards. It’s still close enough to the holidays that your friends and family will enjoy it and will be able to add it to their collection of cards, but you can make them more personal because you will have the time to do it. You can sit down and reflect on the past year and how your family and your life have changed in that time, and can share with them some true gems of information that they will enjoy reading.
Something else to consider about New Year holiday cards is that they often receive more attention from the recipients than the other cards that come during the hustle and bustle of the season. Sometimes holiday cards simply get opened and tossed into a basket because people are busy with gift buying, party planning and sending out their own cards. If they receive your card after the dust has settled, they’ll possibly give it more time and attention and can truly enjoy the effort you put into making it.
The choice is up to you. If you enjoy the rush of the holiday season, then sending out your cards in the middle of it might be for you. If you’d rather take some more time to make them personal, it’s a great idea to wait until after New Years.
"This card came out beautifully. I was able to use the portions of the photos that I wanted as well as enhance several smaller photos to make a bolder statement. The card's paper quality was excellent. One suggestion, I like to write a short note on the back of the cards. Because of the black base color of the card it would be extra nice if Tinyprints offered the purchase of a gold gel pen with the order."
"The cards felt of quality in your hands. They were not only beautiful with a black and white photo, they looked elegant and felt elegant."
"I know I rely on Tinyprints to deliver a quality product on time that is also beautiful. I love that I can edit so much of the card unlike other companies."
"I loved the way the picture took up the whole card with cheerful overprinting of text. In combination with the animated expressions on my grandsons' faces, the text gave the perfect enthusiastic greeting."
"Really loved the easily personalized cards and the envelopes were good quality as well. My order arrived well before the promised date - an added bonus."
