New Year’s Resolutions have been popular since the Babylonians started making them about 4,000 years ago, but despite the long history of them, people still haven’t found a surefire way to ensure they keep their resolutions. One way to make sure you stick to your goals for the new year is to ensure they are attainable.
In the new year, give back to your community. You don’t need to do it a certain number of hours or days per week — setting rigid goals is part of why people fail at them — but do spend at least one chunk of your time doing for others. Consider volunteering at a soup kitchen, bringing meals to an elderly neighbor or even doing something as simple as babysitting a friend’s children so he or she can have a few hours of free time.
Science has proven that smiling releases endorphins that make you feel happier and more positive. During the next year of your life, try to smile more often. Smile at yourself every time you pass a mirror. Are you feeling sad or angry? Smile. Even if you don’t actually feel like smiling, doing so may lighten your mood some, leading you to feel happier, healthier and more productive.
The ancient Chinese made the act of sending greetings for the new year popular, but like many traditions, it got lost along the way. Bring it back! Sending a quick card to welcome in the new year and wish someone luck in it will bring a smile to their face, and it’s a resolution you can keep in the very first week of the year.

"I loved this card, not only because it is done in the colors of Ohio State, but also because it was simple yet said everything I wanted to convey to our family and friends. Our family pic fit beautifully."
"Perfect, we loved it and so did everyone else. I used a photo editor app on my phone to create it. I only wish you had it as an option. Great job.Looking forward to future projects from you."
"I wanted a photo card that would include enough space for me to write a personal message that would go to our closest friends and family. I found that possibility after fielding a call to the staff at Tiny Prints. The folded 'Favorite Memory' Photo Card was perfect. My intended story was told beginning with a full cover photo, two photos and my 87 word message inside, ending with one photo on the back…A perfect fit! Comments coming back to me convey the joy that I felt as I went through the layout process. Many, many thanks for helping me give this 'gift' to the people I love."
"Loved the bright colors and quality of the product. Since we will be celebrating grandmothers 80th & 90th birthdays, we were able to include their pictures on this New Year's card! Simply perfect for our needs!"
"Love this card! So cute and cheerful...who couldn't use some cheer? Great quality paper, I used the pearl. Really heavy weight and just beautiful. Nice printing. Definitely recommend."
