Exciting Holiday Party Games for Kids and Grown-Ups

Holiday and Christmas games are the perfect way to spice up your holiday party. You can always fall back on childhood favorites, but here are a few new ideas to help you on your way.

Guess What Belongs to Whom

The day before your Christmas party at the office, secretly go around to each person's desk and snatch one unique item. At the party, lay everything out on a table, each assigned with a number, then ask everyone to figure out which item came from which person's desk. Laughter and fun are sure to follow!

Two Truths & A Lie

This is the holiday spin on the classic Two Truths & A Lie game. Every player should write down two of the worst holiday presents they have ever received along with one made up holiday present. Make sure that everyone writes his or her name on the paper, then read them aloud one by one and try to guess which is the lie.

Name that Holiday Tune

Divide your guests into two teams and start to play the beginning of a holiday song. The first team to successfully name the song gets a point, and the team with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Pin the Nose on the Reindeer

Just as it sounds, this is the age-old Pin the Tail on the Donkey game with a twist. You can even get a party guest to volunteer to be the reindeer if you wish. Just make sure to use tape, not pins!

Consider having selections of prizes to award to the winners, since games are always more fun when you are playing for prizes. Also remember to treat everyone as a winner to make the games and parties are much more happy and successful.
